How do my students register for my educational tour?
There are four ways for your students to enroll and pay:
- Online: Go to SmithsonianStudentTravel.com and enter the tour number in the middle section under “enroll in your teacher’s tour.” This will bring participants to our online participant application where they can submit an application and use a debit or credit card for payment.
- Mail: When mailing we recommend that participants give applications to their group leader to be sent in together.
- Phone: Participants may apply by phone at 1-888-333-9756.
- Fax: 1-800-257-3030
How can students plan for their trip?
Students and parents can log in to their personal Tour Participant Site and access important online forms and resources to help them plan for their class trip. They can also make payments, find out how to earn high school credit, learn about our coverage plans and see a day-by-day itinerary of their trip.
How do I plan for the tour?
Your tour consultant will give you a login and password for your personal Group Leader Site. Once you're logged in, you can access past and current tours, check and redeem Global Rewards Points and manage your Tour Participant Site. Online forms, a countdown to travel and alerts and reminders will all help you manage this process effectively.
What should I tell my students to pack?
Make sure all your students bring a photo ID with them. In addition, we've provided a page of
packing suggestions.
