Days:
From the world-renowned architecture of the majestic 19th Century Trinity Church, to the gleaming skyscrapers of the financial district, this historic city offers a vibrant blend of America’s past, present and future. It's also home to some of the world's top educational institutions, including Harvard University and M.I.T. Bostonians are proud to have world-famous sports teams, including the Boston Red Sox, who finally broke the 86-year "Curse of the Bambino" in 2004!

Boston has a cross between a humid continental climate and humid subtropical climate. Summers are typically warm and humid, while winters are cold, windy, and snowy.

  • Smithsonian Student Travel offers two tour-pricing options to best fit your group's needs:

    • Private tour
Private tours are the best option for class trips and groups of 20 or more. A private tour allows your group to travel on your own private bus with a dedicated tour director. This option provides itinerary flexibility and gives your group more freedom to customize your tour. Any group with 35 paying participants or more is automatically considered a private group.
    • Consolidated tour
Consolidated tours allow small groups to be combined with other groups, assuring that your class trip is affordable for everyone. Consolidated groups travel together, sharing a bus and a tour director. The program fee for this option is the same regardless of the number of paying participants on the tour.

Please note that this quote will provide pricing for a consolidated tour of any group size or a private tour with 35 paying participants. To obtain pricing for a private group of a different size, please contact us at 1-800-503-2323.
